Warehouse Manager (Central Islip, NY 11749)


Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:
·        Manage the day to day functions of the firm’s locations including management of personnel, hours, scheduling and the ordering and maintenance of office and facility supplies
·        Oversee the firm’s overall facilities needs; order and maintain all supplies necessary to ship and receive goods  
·        Will have experience understanding Fire and Security systems
·        Have a strong working knowledge of the Enterprise System used by the firm; ideally will have current experience with Visual ERP and RFPlus
·        Oversee and manage site personnel to ensure that all data is properly recorded
·        Create, maintain and follow standards, policies and procedures
·        Examine day to day process flows and recommend improvements
·        Advise customers as required: keeping them informed of shipping/receiving progress, notifying them of impending changes or potential stock outages
·        Communicate the status of support requests to Upper Management

Requirements:
·        Must have a BA/BS Degree; Advanced Degree a plus and a minimum 5 years of related experience
·        Previous management experience of overseeing at least 100K square feet
·        Will have a demonstrated track record of cycle counts accuracy, and systematic inventory reductions
·        Must be detail oriented and self motivating with solid coaching and team building skills
·        Have knowledge of documentation required for shipping and receiving goods to & from the firm’s location(s)
·        Must have current working knowledge of Logistics, both Domestic and International
·        Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
·        Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…)
·        Strong interpersonal and active listening skills along with a customer-care oriented focus

Responsibilities:
·        Lead transitions of EDI systems to next-generation environments and/or cross-functional business systems.
·        Lead, coordinate, and administer key process improvements to Internet-Based EDI implementations.
·        Participate in design and review of new applications and integration strategies of EDI systems.
·        Conduct research on EDI-related hardware and software in support of procurement and system development efforts.
·        Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.
·        Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
·        Define and perform EDI system backups and recovery procedures.
·        Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.

Requirements:

·        At least 5 years of current EDI experience, preferably in the transportation and logistics industries
·        Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.), VAN’s, and EDI translators.
·        Good understanding of ASC X12 EDI standards and e-business, knowledge of EDI translation, communication, and interface environments
·        Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems.
·        Experience in standard manufacturing EDI transactions (e.g. 800 series, 900 series,  etc.)
·        Experience with troubleshooting and resolving operational EDI issues with customers and business partners
·        Experience using Infor Visual Manufacturing a plus; experience with SaberLogic or RedTail a plus

Overview:
·        Will be heavily involved in the Planning, Design and Implementation of our Leading-Edge Email Marketing Programs
·        Responsible for the Operational Production and Execution of both Revenue-Producing and Non-Revenue Producing Emails. 
·        Must have experience with Email Planning and Deployment along with Web Content Management in a Retail/On-Line Retail environment.
·        The position requires technical expertise in Digital Marketing, combined with a thorough knowledge of Best Practices relating to Email and Cross-Channel Marketing Programs.
·        While working within our Direct Marketing and Retention Department will collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, eCommerce, Customer Service, and various Third-Party Vendors on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
·        Project Management of all Email Deliverables and execution of day-to-day operational tasks to support our daily Email schedule.
·        Create marketing briefs that clearly and concisely convey the objectives of a given campaign and communicate those requirements to users and clients both internally and externally
·        Working with Email Service Provider to Build, Test and Deploy Email Campaigns.
·        Maintaining reports; compiling Email data and lessons learned.
·        Quality Assurance and Testing Email Campaigns to ensure Accuracy and Quality.
·        Managing project timelines during both peak and non-peak periods
·        Monitoring deliverability and follow up on resulting issues.

Requirements:
·        Bachelor’s Degree; ideally in Marketing or a related field; Advanced Degree a plus
·        3+ years working in a Retail/eCommerce Environment
·        Familiarity with industry ESP platforms, in both self-serve and full-serve capacities
·        Must have experience with Email Campaign Management Platforms (Unica, Aprimo, etc....) or products such as Blue Hornet, Bronto, etc… Will have experience with the design and deployment of Email Marketing Campaigns
·       Will have experience with List Segmentation / List Management and Lifecycle Messaging
·       Knowledge of Email Best Practices, Deliverability, CAN-SPAM Legislation, and Email Success Metrics
·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, implementing last-minute changes as needed
·        Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of Email programs simultaneously
·        Experience with cross-channel marketing and working with third-party partners

Business Analyst (Solid SQL Skills a Must)

Overview:
Will work with a small team of Applications Developers and Analysts to provide innovative solutions and functional support in the use of our software technologies for our external clients. Requires a strong ability to interface with external clients in order to define and resolve technical issues. Strong hands-on SQL skills are a critical need in this role.

Responsibilities:

Overview:
·        The System/Network Administrator will ensure the stable operation of all computer systems and networking equipment.
·        Will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of systems, hardware, software and related infrastructure.
·        Will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation of the infrastructure.
·        Will also assist Project Teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning Phases of our standard Project Management Methodology, including: needs analysis, benefits analysis, technical strategy; R&D within the project life-cycle; technical design analysis and support for execution, testing and rolling-out the solutions. 
·        Project participation is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff. Will assist the Director of Information Systems to achieve a consistent flow of project completions in an organized manner.
·        Will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Partners to achieve the highest level of uptime.

Responsibilities:
·        Engineering & Design:
·        Engineering of system administration and network administration related solutions for various project and operational needs.
·        Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
·        Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards
·        Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage current resources and provide economies of scale.
·        Assist with I.T. Application Development projects as assigned, from planning through implementation: set project scope, priorities, deadlines and deliverable schedules.
·        Manage and monitor project budgets and expenditures
·        Facilitate discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders such as users, managers, programmers, analysts and other project managers.
·        Operations and Support:
·        Daily system monitoring to verify integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
·        Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
·        Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs and backups.
·        Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
·        Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
·        Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
·        Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.  Coordinate and communicate with impacted users
·        Maintenance:
·        Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis. Upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / Add new services if and when necessary.
·        Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures; perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
·        Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.  Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
·        Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
·        As needed, contact outside vendor support services in a timely manner.
·        Maintain a desktop procedures manual of important system activities while also safeguarding company confidential information.
·        Assist the Director of Information Systems with various projects on an as needed basis

Requirements:
·        Bachelor's Degree in a related I.T. area is a MUST; Advanced Degree Preferred
·        Although this is a Networking/Systems position the selected Candidate Must also have a background in Applications Development
·        Extensive knowledge of business software, distribution, accounting and inventory systems, networks, and related equipment; must have experience with Enterprise Server Hardware
·        Absolutely must have excellent English communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the various users, both technical and non-technical
·        Strong emphasis on teamwork, organizational and analytical skills.
·        The ideal Candidate will have current knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 (R2) Administration + HyperV Management, Active Directory, DNS, DCHP, WINS, IIS, IPSEC, Exchange, Oracle Web technologies, ColdFusion VOIP and MS SQL Server a plus, VMware, Cisco Switches and CISCO ASA 5000 series Firewalls, Fortinet, HP Servers and Network Switches, EMC SAN Clarion NaviSphere CX200, Dell PS6000E, CA eTrust, ArcServe & RHA.
·        Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineering Certification a plus.
