Sr. HRIS Analyst (Farmingdale, L.I., NY)

Senior HRIS Analyst

Overview:
• The Sr. HRIS Analyst will lead projects to design, develop and implement new systems, functionality, upgrades and enhancements.
• Must have strong, current experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Will monitor business environments and makes recommendations to meet changing requirements.
• Must be able to work independently and work on multiple projects simultaneously, resolve project issues, meet deadlines and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Strong user interface and user training skills are a must have

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with HRIS team regarding application upgrades, application functional changes, training, and streamlining of operational procedures and control processes.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, functional specifications, requirements documentation, test scripts and issues logs.
• Acts as liaison with managerial, systems analysis personnel and vendors to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming involved; effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
• Provides functional and technical support for all Applicant Tracking Systems. Works with internal teams and appropriate vendors to resolve and escalate issues. Manages data integrations between Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Ensures a secured data environment, prevents unauthorized access, enforces access policies, creates access levels and ids for new users and provides end user support for data access issues through adherence to regulatory, corporate and departmental standards.
• Compiles data for governmental reporting and submits to appropriate agency and/or contractor.
• Leads Sarbanes Oxley Testing and documents new/revised processes; updates the internal system with testing results.

Requirements:
• Current Enterprise-Wide HRIS/Payroll systems experience is a must. Global and large-scale experience a plus.
• Experience with systems such as: ADP/Enterprise, PeopleSoft, Oracle or Lawson preferred.
• Must have administrator experience with a talent acquisition system such as Taleo and a talent management system such as SuccessFactors
• Should have solid knowledge of Payroll and Benefits procedures and operations.
• Working knowledge of FLSA, AAP, FMLA, HIPAA and all other Federal regulations.
• Must be detail oriented and adaptable in an environment where multi-tasking is an everyday occurrence.
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access and Adobe is expected.

QA Analyst/Tester - Trading Systems (New York City)

QA Analyst/Tester - Trading Systems Environment

Responsibilities include writing functional specifications and testing system applications.

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong technical skills are important, including database design and programming knowledge (This is NOT a Programming role)
• The position does not involve any programming but previous experience developing systems/applications, in financial services, especially equities, fixed income securities and/or derivatives is a very big plus.
• Experience with Eagle SRM/STAR/Pace is a deciding plus.
• Experience implementing accounting or related systems is ideal
• Must be self-motivated, with strong written and oral communication skills, and detail-oriented. Will work closely with users at all levels to address support requests
• Bachelor’s degree is required, with a major in MIS or computer science preferred.

VP, Information Security (Huntington, L.I., NY)

VP of Information Security

Overview:
• The VP, Information Security will be responsible for the enterprise information security program as defined by the firm’s Management and the regulatory agencies with industry oversight.
• Will provide supervision and direction regarding all security requirements for areas (Applications, Systems, Networks, Peripherals, General Infrastructure, etc…) relating to the enterprise structure.

Responsibilities:
• Perform all security monitoring duties to ensure safety and soundness for the full scope of operations activities while establishing a dynamic oversight relationship aligned with the business and business support groups
• Will define, deploy and enforce the enterprise wide security policies, using comprehensive reporting tools and formalized documentation practices
• Will manage the Compliance Department activities and ensuring that the security and compliance policies are synchronized and maintained in parallel.

Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working within Information Security and Compliance using approved principles and practices, “hands on” security management toolset design and implementation experience, and general management skills (administrative, projects, and mentoring)
• Strong communication and professional inter-personal skills are mandatory, must have strong written/oral communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must possess a seasoned and demonstrable working knowledge of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) principles and disciplines, including but not limited to creating and managing security programs, proactively assessing vulnerabilities and threats, utilizing tools and methods to monitor activity, adhering certification guidelines and mandates to business line activities, effectively ensuring a structure of safety and soundness to the organization
• Strong working knowledge and practice in Business Continuity Programs and overall disaster recovery principles
Hands on experience with:
• Security Information Event Management Systems (SIEM)
• Database Activity Monitoring Systems (DAM)
• Data Leakage Prevention Systems (DLP)
• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
• Intrusion Detection systems (IDS)
• Encryption appliances and applications
• MS Office especially in Word and Excel

Accounting Manager (Farmingdale, L.I., NY)

Accounting Manager

• Responsible for overseeing all accounting and reporting functions for the firm and its subsidiaries.
• Must be highly motivated and proactive in streamlining processes and procedures.
• Must have experience leading a talented staff in delivering accurate and timely results

Responsibilities:
• Management of accounting staff (8-10 people): ongoing mentoring, feedback, performance reviews, hire/fire, etc…
• Must have experience with consolidations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statement preparations
• Oversee Financial Reporting package for review: IFRS, Consolidated US GAAP and stand-alone. Develop process improvements to maximize efficiencies within the Accounting group.
• Will prepare for and participate in the year-end audit process and work with external auditors during the annual audit.
• Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements:
• Ideally will have a mix of Public and Private Accounting experience
• At least 2 years of Management experience and at least 5-7 years of Accounting experience
• Should have experience in exceeding expectations along with a strong work ethic
• Must have a demonstrated history of multitasking
• Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and solid user interface skills at all levels
• Must have a proven history of meeting tight deadlines
• Will have experience/proficiency in Windows based applications, a strong MS Office background and ideally experience with a mainstream Accounting software suite such as Great Plains, Sage MAS or Aplicor
• Degree in Accounting is a must, advanced degree is a plus, a CPA is preferred.
