Interaction Designer (Information Architect), Online Social Media, NY City

We are seeking an Interaction Designer to join our Product Development Team. Interaction Designers work closely with Engineers and Product Management through all stages of product development. Must have a deep understanding of the design process, love the iterative nature of how technical products get built, and possess a passion for continually making things better.

Responsibilities:
• Will work with our client’s team to design and develop features and applications.
• Form a design strategy based on user’s goals, sketches and define the primary interfaces, creates prototypes, and effectively communicate interaction and design goals
• Stays informed on current trends to keep the site current in terms of UI and technology.
• Will conduct user research (field research and usability tests), models user behaviors (scenarios and personas), develops UIs (wireframes, prototypes, etc.), and contributes to visual design development and critique. This is a very iterative and exploratory process as we need to develop vertical-specific solutions.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to understand the data on our clients systems, the technology used to deploy the systems, and the business landscape that our clients operate in.

Requirements:
• Five + years of demonstrated experience as an Interaction Designer; designing usable Web-Based interfaces.
• Solid academic background in HCI, Interaction Design or a related field.
• Clear visual design sense and point of view. Great visual design chops a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping purposes

PeopleSoft Solutions Architect (Nationwide Need)

PeopleSoft Solutions Architect

• Will be working with a Solutions Company that sells both products and consulting to PeopleSoft customers.
• Candidate must have Very Strong PeopleTools skills and very good communication skills.
Other than PeopleTools skills, over 50% of any development work will be pure Web Development that will involve HTML, JavaScript, XSLT and Ajax. So having any of these skills is highly desired, but we are willing to train the right person where there are gaps in skill set.
• Experience with the PeopleSoft Portal is desired by not necessary. Experience with any other Portal Technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM would be nice but not necessary, as most of our projects are Portal and/or HCM related.
• Candidate would work mostly with other members of the team on projects lasting roughly six months in duration.
• Ability to manage other consultants and customers expectations is a big plus.
• Travel typically between 40-50%, but travel weeks limited to a maximum of four days on site at the customer locations.

Sr. Director, Administration (Suffolk County, L.I., NY)

The Sr. Director will lead the team in our Suffolk County headquarters. This is a Hands-On Management position for an Innovative Leader who is never satisfied with the status quo. Must have extensive experience with Health and Welfare related Benefits and Reporting environments (Cobra, ERISA, etc…). The ideal candidate will have experience working for a 3rd party administrator and will have managed Customer Service, Call Centers, Eligibility Analysts and Client Service Reps.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise/Lead a team of 7-10 internal personnel; including eligibility analysts, client services and customer service representatives
• Participate in a business process re-engineering effort by identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities for administrative department
