The Project Manager will be responsible for Identifying, Coordinating, and Integrating activities necessary to manage the Architecture, Design, Development, Release and Maintenance of Our Product Offerings; this will involve Program Development, Budgeting, Planning and Design, Scheduling, Conflict Resolution, Contract Adherence, Risk Management, and Full Life Cycle Project Execution. The Project Manager will ensure adherence to Industry Best Practices and will have primary responsibility for Client Satisfaction, Scheduling and Budget Oversight to assure Project Success.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Management of the Complete Project Life Cycle
  • Analyze Contract Requirements and Develop Project-Specific Plans/Deliverables to enable Successful Project Implementation. Coordinate Requirements Definition, Development, Testing and other Functional Activities
  • Interact with Technical and Business Stakeholders to perform Analysis of Business Requirements
  • Provide insight on Options, Risk and Cost vs. Benefit along with Status Updates and Reports
  • Analyze and Resolve all Technical, Commercial and Operational Issues
  • Develop Resource Plans to Align Appropriate/Qualified Resources in support of activities to successfully complete the project
  • Troubleshoot problems and Develop Solutions for Clients and Development Teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree a plus
  • Must have solid, current Technical Project Management experience. Must be able to Work Independently and Take Ownership of Assignments
  • Current experience with Requirements Gathering Techniques and Requirements Management Tools
  • Excellent Conceptual, Analytical, Decision-Making and Planning Skills
  • Ability to Manage a Diverse, Rapidly Changing Environment and to ensure shared responsibility for outcomes. Responsible for Coordinating Efforts of Multiple Groups
  • Demonstrated history of Providing Creative Solutions
  • Experience in Operations, Maintenance and Management of Multiple Project Releases
  • Working knowledge of Programming, Networking and Infrastructure or Server Administration is desired
  • Agile Software Project experience a plus
  • Absolutely Must have Excellent Interpersonal, Communication, and Written Skills

The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in critical thinking, effective communication, project management, and resource management. This individual will be expected to learn and understand the insurance business and the systems that support it. The right candidate will also be a self-starter who exhibits creativity, innovation and is results oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic and technical direction for the group
  • Architect sound, cost-effective solutions

  • Provide highly-technical leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which support the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives

We are looking for a Senior Underwriter for our Commercial Automotive Division. The selected Candidate will have five years of experience with Commercial Auto and Long Haul Trucking Underwriting.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Must have at least five years of current experience with Commercial Automotive and Long Haul Trucking Underwriting. Current Commercial Automotive industry experience is a must.
  • Determine and prioritize submissions to be underwritten
  • Analysis of submissions for acceptability in compliance with the Underwriting Guide and within approved Underwriting Levels of Authority.   
  • Based on the above evaluation; rate, non-renew, decline, bind, or renew the risk.
  • Place Facultative Reinsurance as needed
  • Responsible for Technical Risk Analysis
  • Responsible for setting up new policies for issuance.
  • Responsible for placing business through the non-admitted market for risks that do not qualify for the firm’s programs.
  • Review, Approve and Process Renewal Policies.
  • Will review and generate Underwriting cancellations. Will review and generate non-renewals
  • Review of Loss Control Inspections
  • This position requires extensive interface with Brokers regarding Underwriting issues; will be responsible for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Will have the proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Assist in the professional development of Underwriting Assistants and Underwriting Technicians.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
