Responsibilities:

• Works with Senior Leaders within the Application Technology Group to architect solutions with technical vision, maintainability and total cost of ownership in mind.
• You'll provide technical leadership to developers in a variety of duties including data design, coding, testing, technical design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for technical implementation, code quality and overall productivity of the development team, ensuring technical standards and principles are adhered to on continuous basis.
• Monitor / Mentor day to day work of the team (both on and off-shore) and clearly communicate and set expectations of all development tasks.
• Closely work with multiple groups (Architecture, Security and Technical Services) to review work (architecture, code, etc.) for multiple projects.
• Coordinates & documents: daily standup meetings between all of the developers to review progress, and remove impediments/needs/roadblocks.
• Hold weekly meetings with Business, QA, and Infrastructure teams to review progress of all pending projects, and help coordinate to remove impediments/roadblocks.
• Inspires, mentors and trains development team on modern technologies continuously.
• Coordinates with QA and Infrastructure teams as needed. Participates in strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client partners.
• Coordinates and Supports Application Deployment.
• Provides technical support including participation in on call rotation.
• Assist in the hiring process to hire top talent and in the performance evaluations of team members, identifying areas of improvement.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree in related field; Advanced Degree preferred
• Strong, current experience developing Cold Fusion applications in Cold Fusion 8+, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience in profiling and performance analysis/troubleshooting of Cold Fusion applications and the underlying infrastructure
• Strong application architecture skills
• Experience creating Web Services (SOAP, REST, CF)
• Solid analytical skills, especially in area of translating business requirements into technical design -- with a continuous focus on aligning technical roadmap with the immediate and long-term Business strategies
• Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communications skills
• Document Composition Tool Experience (Exstream, GMC, XMPie, etc…)
• Experience with .NET (C#, etc..), Web API, IIS
• Prior experience working with Perforce, Angular JS, Single Sign On (SAML) – SiteMinder

Overview:

Linux Systems Administrator needed to Manage Systems, Storage, and Network Infrastructure for an extremely large Clustered Network Environment in New York City. Will be responsible for very large Server and Cluster Environments (Thousands of Cores / GPUs), Petabytes of Storage, and High-Performance LANs / WANs. The accepted will ideally come from an extremely large-scale installation and will have extensive experience with Linux, File Systems, Networking and Processes for the Administration of Linux Systems. Will also have solid Programming and Scripting knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for Physical and Virtual Servers, all Security Issues, Operating Systems, Network Equipment, Systems Monitoring, Backup and Inventory along with Software and Applications

• Must have strong, current Linux Systems Engineering / Administration experience. Will have solid Hardware, O/S, Network and Application Troubleshooting and Tuning expertise.
• Will have thorough experience with: TCP/IP Networking, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, iptables, IPSec, OpenVPN, Radius, DHCP, DNS (bind), proxy servers, load balancers Wi-Fi and VoIP
• Will have current knowledge and experience with one or more Scripting Languages
