Overview:

National Insurance Company is seeking an Underwriting Manager with proven experience to build and enhance our Underwriting Team. The ideal Candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with Workers Compensation Insurance, Commercial Property and General Liability Insurance experience.

This is NOT a Financial, Mortgage or Banking related Underwriting position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor underwriting team ensuring the goals, practices and policies of the company.
• Conduct on-going audits of the team as individuals and as a group to confirm workloads are efficiently distributed and current.
• Serve as the primary resource for underwriters for questions and authorization of any exceptions.
• Develop training and goals for individuals in the group and write performance reviews for individual team members annually or as needed.
• Attend trade shows when needed which may include overnight stays.
• Develop relationships with brokers and industry connections through networking events
• Work with upper management and marketing to collaborate any inter department programs or company communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree a plus
• Minimum 5 years Commercial Property, General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance experience along with at least 2 years of Staff Management experience
• Commercial package on-line quoting systems experience.
• Proficiency in the use of online researching of 3rd party data, including but not limited to social media.
• Knowledge of loss control actions taken on book of CPP or BOP business
• High energy leader with excellent communication skills

Well established Financial Services Firm is looking to add a Developer with Angular or React Skills, C#, and experience Building Web-Based Applications to our Development Team. Will be responsible for Full Life Cycle High Level Development, including Governance, Modeling, Data Warehouse, Report Development, SQL Development and Delivery and Integration of Web Based Applications in support of Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments and 40 Act Funds from multiple offices throughout the country

Responsibilities:
