Business Analyst - Longview Trading Systems (NY City)

**Current experience with Longview Trading Systems (LVTS) is a MUST**

Overview:
• The individual will work closely with the Applications Development team and the Equity Trading Desk in a support role.
• Associate Level position in the Applications group providing equity trading system support, including testing, business analysis and problem resolution.
• The candidate must have at least two years experience working with Linedata's Longview Trading System ("LVTS") version 6.x or later.
• This individual will be expected to write systems specifications, provide testing of in-house development, as well as testing of vendor upgrades.
• Additionally, the individual will be responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests, primarily focused on Equity Trading issues.

Responsibilities:
• Providing testing expertise, generating business requirements, and problem resolution in support of the firm's equity order management system (Longview Trading System), and related systems used in the lifecycle of an investment decision.
• Working with both in-house and vendor provided development teams to manage/prioritize on-going system enhancements to various systems.
• Addressing production related issues in the form of data analysis, assessing application/program functionality, and providing expert knowledge and training to end users.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2-5 years experience in application development (non-programming)
• Working knowledge of Longview Trading System (LVTS) version 6.x or later.
• Experience with business systems analysis or quality assurance testing.
• Familiarity with Omgeo OASYS and CTM a plus.
• Portfolio accounting, performance measurement, compliance or billing system experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases, including utilization of SQL to perform ad-hoc data requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

SQL DBA / Windows Sys Admin (Bellmore, L.I., NY)

This is a Hybrid Role of SQL Database Administration and Windows Systems Administration (80/20)

Experience Needed:
• At least five years of solid, production-level experience with SQL Server (2008 ideal) is a must.
• Must have experience with SQL Server Clustering.
• Must have a strong Windows background (this is Not a UNIX shop). Windows Server 2003 / 2008 R2 Administration experience is also a must have.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options is needed.
• Will have experience troubleshooting and resolving database and server issues
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models (RedGate SQL Backup Pro is ideal)
• Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
• Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS administration and report design)
• Some experience with SQL Server Integration Services
• Some experience with load-balanced Web Servers running IIS7 is a plus.
• Experience performing daily system monitoring

E-Commerce / Web Analytics Analyst (Huntington, L.I., NY)

E-Commerce, Web Analytics Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for both on-site and off-site Web Analytics.
• On-site analytics measure a visitor’s behavior once they are on our website.
• Off-site analytics pertain to measurements of our website’s potential audience, visibility, and share of market.
• Defines and analyzes metrics to measure and enhance on-site search term performance.
• Defines, maintains, and analyzes metrics to measure website, eProcurement, and eMarketing programs. Analyzes web analytics data as well as other offline data to monitor website performance (e.g. customer experience, fall out points, customer demographics & trends, etc.).
• Defines and manages analysis to create data-driven insights about search engine visitor behavior (both organic and pay-per-click) on order volume, conversion rates, navigation behavior, and product selection.
• Integrates agency reports with internal data to measure and forecast sales and ROI for SEO and SEM projects. Participates in website projects as a measurement and analytics expert, identifying reporting requirements, creating and managing report implementation, and analyzing post-launch metrics.
• Develops analysis to discover underperforming areas of the website to identify opportunities to improve site performance.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Experience / Education
• Minimum of three years experience in a related role is required.
• Must have experience in eCommerce analysis; experience with website eCommerce is a big plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Excellent analytical and planning skills are required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Access. Familiarity with statistical and analytical techniques including trend analysis, forecasting, and modeling; proficiency in database analysis, SQL, and query design a plus.
• Experience with Coremetrics or other eCommerce analytics tool required.
• Ability to work independently and creatively is a must.

Overview:
• The Project Manager will be responsible for meeting with users to gather requirements, develop requirements, documentation and specifications.
• Will write specifications based on requirements and review these specifications with the development team and Senior Management.
• Will track project status with the development team and report status to management.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary liaison to business partners or users and provide recommendations for improved system processes.
• Develop deliverables related to project including feasibility studies, risk assessment, project initiation reports, staffing, project organization outlines, and standards and control procedures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems or equivalent experience is required

• Three years of experience managing project budgets in excess of $1M; must have the ability to manage project budgets; understand and validate estimates, cost variance tracking, etc.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a Business Analysis, Project Leader/Management role
• Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
• Maintain active membership in related associations to stay abreast of the changes in the field (AMA, PMA, etc.)
