Agile Project Manager (Hauppauge, NY)


Agile Project Manager

Overview:
Our Web Engineering Department is seeking an experienced and professional Agile Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects supporting the firm's Direct Response
e-Commerce Web Sites.

Responsibilities:
·       Responsible for full life-cycle project management on IT projects, including in-house custom developed applications and vendor packaged solution integration and implementations.
·       Coach Development Team on Agile methodology. Facilitate meetings: Daily Scrums, Demos, Retrospectives & Sprint Planning Meetings
·       Consults with business owners to gather and document information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and i/o requirements. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems / business user's needs and requirements 
·       Creates detailed description of program functions, and prepares project and task plans required to develop or modify customized programs or make decisions to purchase packaged vendor applications
·       Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects: Determines staffing requirements & responsibilities, and sets deadlines based on project plans. 
·       Communicates project status with stakeholders & gathers user feedback for review
·       Oversees testing activities, to refine and debug programs, and obtain required user acceptance documentation. Responsible for tracking of all defects and feature requests through the software development lifecycle
·       Prepares user documentation and participates in user training, as necessary
·       Monitors and summarizes project's progress and prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects undertaken. 
·       Manages and schedules all new system implementations
·       Ensures completion and accuracy of all project deliverables

Requirements:
·       BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree a plus and at least five years of demonstrated experience in Project Management
·       Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science
·       Will have experience with Agile planning tools such as Jira
·       Must have strong analytical skills and be experienced in preparing systems and user documentation
·       Will have well developed presentation skills
·       Proven track record of managing multiple technical projects in fast-paced environments. Strong time management and organizational skills
·       Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience testing and implementing new applications
·       Absolutely must have strong English communication skills
·       Experience in the delivery of technical projects in an eCommerce setting. Previous experience using Salesforce.com and/or Demandware eCommerce platforms is ideal
·       PMP Certification is a plus

The Cisco Unified Communications Sales Engineer / Pre Sales Engineer will serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for Solution Selling of Cisco Unified Communications Products and Services.

Responsibilities:
·       Provide technical expertise/credibility to account team on Unified Communications
·       Conduct customer presentations on the firm's value propositions and technical solution sets
·       Assist account teams with collecting customer business and technical requirements and determining recommended solutions
·       Assist Sales Team with overall account planning as it relates to technical aspects of hardware, software, services opportunity development and with project management for complex presales engagements
·       Complete technical sections for RFP / RFI / RFQ responses
·       Develop solution architecture and detailed line item configurations/bills of materials (BOMs)
·       Develop solution proposal and/or presentation of recommended solution
·       Assist with technical scoping/review for Statement of Work (SOW) for assigned accounts
·       Function as Technical Liaison / Ambassador with Partners and Vendors and as a liaison to the end-user/customer technical staff regarding solution and implementation specifics
·       Function as a liaison between the sales team and professional services organization to vet solution recommendations and to complete technical portions of the SOW, as appropriate
·       Assist sales management with mentoring of junior sales account managers as it relates to overall opportunity management and technical solution set
·       Lead knowledge transfer forums around solution updates, implementation ‘lessons learned,’ etc. as relevant
·       Assist Sales Team in dealing with customer satisfaction issues surrounding technical aspects of a recommended solution, or its implementation and deployment.
·       Complete training per development plan and maintain certifications in accordance with focus area
·       Complete administrative tasks (expenses, time reporting) in timely fashion

Requirements  
·       BS/BA Degree, Advanced Degree a plus
·       Seven plus years of hands on experience in IT and relevant subject matter with at least four years experience in a Sr. Engineer or Consulting role
·       CCDA/CCNA Certification is a must have
·       Will have hands-on experience with the following: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager 6.x - 10.x), Cisco Unified Contact Center, Remote Expert, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM/Presence, Cisco UCS platform
·       Strong Technical Documentation skills a must
·       CCDP/CCNP Certification preferred
