Accounts Payable
Representative (Farmingdale, NY 11735)
Overview:
Major Long Island Employer seeks a detail-oriented Accounts
Payable (AP) Representative to assist us in providing exceptional customer
service to our Outside Vendors and our Internal Product and Sales Teams. This
is a fast-paced, team-oriented position using skills in research and resolution
to drive results.
Responsibilities:

Use your mathematical and resolution skills to
build a career with an industry leader.
·
Review assigned invoice error queues and resolve
AP discrepancies.
·
Identify invoice and credit memo issues and
resolve in collaboration with other departments to ensure proper application.
·
Reconcile supplier monthly statements and
maintain supplier accounts from an aging perspective.
·
Enter invoices as needed.
Requirements:
·
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Preferred; High
School Diploma or Equivalent Required;
·
At least three years of Accounts Payable experience
·
Strong knowledge and experience with Accounting
Processes related to Accounts Payable
·
Working knowledge of SAP Financial Systems and
Purchasing/Receiving Systems
·
Strong English Verbal and Written Communications
Skills are a must have
This is a permanent,
