Sales Manager  - Medical Software/Technology

·       We are seeking a Sales Manager to sell our suite of  Medical Software Solutions. Our product was developed to streamline Radiology related Medical Operations; it tracks and reports on assets and manages the scheduling of patients. It is a standalone product to supplement larger EMR systems.
·       The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and closing new business in assigned territories with an overall responsibility to  identify, cultivate and close new accounts, while maintaining relationships in our existing customer base.
·       Will work closely with our Sales Director to develop and implement specific action plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets. 
·       The ideal candidate has experience selling complex solutions to hospitals, and a familiarity with key stakeholders in hospital purchasing environments, the timeline involved and how to effectively forecast and close deals. 
·       Knowledge and experience with Healthcare Software Solutions and Radiology Administrative and Operational processes experience is necessary. Experience with interventional radiology workflow is a deciding plus.
·       This position can be virtual. The Team is based in the suburbs outside of Providence, RI.

·       Identifying, researching, penetrating and closing new accounts
·       Contributing to lead generation activities and telemarketing efforts to drive prospective client appointments (i.e. cold calling, webinars, follow-up, trade shows)
·       Creating presentations and proposals to illustrate anticipated the product's return on investment for potential clients
·       Traveling onsite to qualified prospects in order to build relationships, assess needs and present product solutions which are specific to the client’s objectives
·       Assisting customers in developing the appropriate strategies to win budget approval for product purchase
·       Working with the Account Manager to understand and communicate about existing customers’ needs in coordination with onsite visits and renewals
·       Maintaining sufficient activity levels to ensure Pipeline exceeds sales quota
·       Performing administrative tasks including pipeline reports, updating calendars, forecasts and appropriate tracking systems
·       Proven history of knowing when and how to close the sale

·       BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree a plus
·       5+ years successful sales experience with complex solution selling, as measured by sales performance against goals, and the demonstrated ability to deliver in a complex sales environment.
·       Proven ability to locate, qualify and close sales opportunities
·       Will have a demonstrable record of solution-based, consultative selling with proven ability to define and solve sales challenges
Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team of professionals
·       Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact at all levels within Hospital / HealthCare environments including Clinical Staff, Physicians, Directors, CIOs, CFOs and IT Staff
·       Must be open to nationwide  travel (40-60% including overnight trips and some weekends).
·       Absolutely must have excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills

Job Notes:
·       This is a hunter role for someone who can sell software into hospitals nationwide
·       There is an inside account manager that will support them and can help with leads from time to time but we need someone who isn’t afraid to pound the phones.
·       The sales cycle is approximately one full year and will involve many stake holders
