Summary
This role supports the business community through designing and delivering reporting solutions to business requirements. The role requires a collaborative approach with business managers to ensure an appropriate understanding of their requirements. We are looking for someone with Crystal Reports experience and who has the ability to demonstrate an understanding of Accounting. (This does not necessarily mean being a qualified accountant) The role will involve working with a range of different teams around the world to produce financial reports for some the biggest names in the Private Equity industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved with the life of Private Equity funds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Liaise with the business community and project teams in identifying reporting needs
• Work with direct user involvement to iterate requirements to design and develop new reporting solutions
• Modify existing reports to match changes in business processes
• Provide 3rd line and troubleshooting support to the Service Desk, Operations and Applications Support teams.
• Ensure reports are built to agreed standard and specifications
• Work with teams across IST to ensure processes and services are continually improved.
• Work towards the creation of a reporting framework and build a library of re-usable components
• In addition to the duties listed above, you may be requested to perform other ad hoc duties or projects.

Technical Knowledge / Skills Required:
• Proven experience of report writing products such as Crystal Reports and Microsoft Reporting Services
• Asset Management/Financial Services experience
• Proven experience writing SQL scripts
• Experience of software development and testing
• A team player, able to take the initiative, with good influencing skills
• Ability to communicate with and interact at all levels of the business
• Ability to analyze complex problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Minimum Education / Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree

Previous Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years business reporting experience preferably in a financial or commercial environment. Fund administration experience would be an advantage.
