Entrepreneurial Health Care
Services Firm with expertise in Developing Improvements and Innovation as to
how Health Care is Accessed and Delivered is seeking a Systems Analyst with a
strong SQL Skills and solid,
hands-on experience with HIPAA, X12 EDI
834 and other Health Care Transactions. The Systems Analyst will be
proficient in managing processes, analytically inclined and a strong affinity
towards working with Data.
Responsibilities:
- SQL Coding; Leverage SQL & ODBC to perform data import functions
- Will manage transaction processes for implementations and will perform failure analysis. Will develop enhancement to current processes
- Define requirements and work with Vendors and Programmers for implementations
- Manage new and existing client implementations
- Perform analysis on data or issues to identify root cause or solutions
- Perform quality assurance to ensure compliance with requirements
- Communicate with Management on the progress of the various initiatives
- Collaborate with IT and non-IT Staff to complete required tasks
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree a plus
- Must have strong Analytical Abilities and solid experience with Data Integrity Principles
- Must have strong, current SQL skills (not just modifying commands). Will have experience writing SQL code
- Should have experience in the healthcare and/or insurance industry as well as experience with EDI ANSI x12 standards and strong, current experience with HIPAA, X12 EDI 834
- Experience working as an Analyst for EDI Projects preferred.
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with internal and External Stakeholders and Business Users at all levels
- Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Solid MS Office skills required
- Strong attention to detail and performs consistent work product validation and QA. Should be willing and able to expand Quality Assurance skills
