E-Commerce Web Developer (New York City)

Responsibilities:

  • Will work on our e-commerce platform: SalesForce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) and utilize the platform capabilities to implement new features on our North America Site, launch additional Global E-Commerce Sites and Extend and Provide API’s to Support our Mobile Apps
  • Working cross-functionally in a SCRUM / Agile environment across most facets of our organization such as Local & Offshore Development Teams, Digital Marketing and other Teams within IT to develop Omni-Channel Solutions
  • Will play a Critical Role in Integrating our Digital Storefront, Global Payment Provider and the Order Management System

Technology Needed:

  • Back-End Web Development using Java, J2EE, Struts, EJB, JSP, XML Parsing
  • Ecommerce Platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Magento / SAP Hybris)
  • SOA, OOP, Agile experience
  • Extending API's to Mobile Applications
  • Experience Building Responsive and Adaptive Pages
  • AWS, SVN, Jira, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery
  • Hands on experience with Middleware Integration Platforms (Dell Boomi is a plus)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related; Advanced Degree a plus
  • Experience within an Ecommerce / Digital environment and knowledge of Ecommerce Platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento or SAP Hybris in Scrum / Agile environments
  • Strong, current knowledge of J2EE including knowledge of EJBs, Struts, JDBC, Servlets/JSP, XML Parsing and Manipulation, SOA, Web Technologies, Application Development, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery
  • Current experience with Object-Oriented Programming Principles; Understanding of Web Security Standards, CDN Concepts and Performance Monitoring Tools.
  • Knowledge of Experience building Responsive and Adaptive Pages
  • Knowledge of SVN, JIRA
  • Prior experience or understanding of Middleware Integration Platforms like Dell Boomi along with Experience or Knowledge of AWS Cloud Development (Lambda Functions, API Gateway etc.) is a plus.
  • Absolutely must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills
