Technology Company, located in Midtown Manhattan is looking for an experienced
Tech Lead with a solid background in Development of SaaS Products. Our Flagship
Product is an Online Smart Vendor Management System which enables Clients to
leverage a Community of Resources to complete projects more efficiently. We employ a unique “Ownership” Culture

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, understandable, robust, and sustainable front and back end code
- Mentor and collaborate with a team of engineers to develop world-class applications.
- Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles.
- Identify and prioritize development initiatives and set timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web services.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify quality attributes for the business and system.
- Communicate the company’s technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Select, deploy, and monitor performance profiling tools and procedures.
- Review and approve proposed development releases and manage the release process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of Engineering and Coding experience along with at least two years’ experience in managing Teams of at least three Engineers.
- Must have experience in Developing Complex, SAAS Web Applications.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies and best practices.
- Strong, current experience with Ruby, Rails, React, AWS and Heroku
- A deep understanding of Modern Web Applications and API Design
- Experience with issues related to Scale, Security, Availability, Deployment, and Server Maintenance.
- Experience with Development Best Practices, including Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Source Control, and Code Reviews.
- Experience with Automated QA Strategies and Technologies.
- Current experience with AWS or other Cloud Infrastructures.
- Experience at an early stage or start-up company preferred.
