Overview:
- The Manager, Customer Contract Administration will manage and lead a Team that Supports Customer Requests for the Administration of Customer Contracts, Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- This is a Sell-Side position responsible for ensuring that internal resources meet the requirements of external customer contracts
- The position is responsible for efficient and execution of customer facing contracts and proposal information that results in increased customer trust, supports market share growth and the reduction in compliance risk associated with our contractual customers.
- Will oversee cross functional engagement with key business functions including: Sales, Legal, Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR and Finance.

Responsibilities:
- Manages all commercial and government contracts in accordance with company policies, specifications, good business practices and legal requirements
- Actively participates in contract reviews by reviewing contract terms and risks, and assisting in developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with the contract requirements
- Responsible for the development, execution and continuous improvement of business strategies supporting Customer Contract Administration, Business Proposals, and Request for Information functions.
- Responsible for the direct management, development and ongoing coaching in support of Contract Administration, RFP and RFI functions.
- Identifies and implements sales contract policies, processes and formats in accordance with customer expectations and to ensure achievement of corporate objectives, including productivity and operating budget goals.
- Champions sales contract policy and procedure, revision and improvement with the goal of growing sales while ensuring manageable risk to the company.
- Facilitates necessary engagement between Senior Management, Cross Functional Leadership, Legal Personnel and other critical functions to resolve compliance, legal or other critical issues that may have significantly adverse legal implications (i.e. contracts with non-standard or potentially high-risk terms/conditions)
- Prepares and coordinates business correspondence; and maintains accurate and complete contract files, and records for the company in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Meets regularly with Legal Counsel to ensure adherence to and consistency with corporate policies, review new laws and regulations, and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives as well as overall company objectives.
- Develops and Maintains cross functional leadership relationships including and not limited to; Sales, Legal, Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR and Finance, to enhance focus and accountability to contractual compliance related responsibilities to fulfill customer contractual obligations and minimize Compliance Risk.
- Develop KPIs- Key Performance Indicators to optimize the productivity and efficiency under their leadership.
- Understands the business case of customer contractual requirements and has an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of contract management experience; Advanced Degree a plus.

- Must have solid experience managing a staff, including performance management, providing feedback & having crucial conversations, coaching, new associate on-boarding, and providing career development planning and opportunities, is required. Demonstrable presentation, team building and leadership skills are required
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contracting principles and all contract types, including commercial contracts.
- Sound understanding of commercial contracts, business agreements, and general business practices, required as is knowledge and understanding of legal requirements involved for specific contracts.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with all levels of management and customers.
- Ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environment, required.
- Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), preferred.
