Customer Engineering / Technology Service Delivery Manager

The Customer Engineering/Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of our Engineering team in NY and will work with our Project Management division to oversee project staffing and operations during the delivery of external client networking engagements. Success in this role requires expertise in delivering technology solutions and involves significant customer interaction and requires strong technical, organizational, communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities:
·        Will manage overall operations of the NY Engineering Team with responsibility for solution deployment, technical requirements determination, resource allocation, project performance and profitability, scheduling, budgeting, customer issue resolution and overall client satisfaction.
·        Oversee Project Management (smaller projects) and ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget
·        Meeting and improving cost, schedule, performance and quality requirements
·        Revenue calculation and reporting including measuring and analyzing utilization and realization
·        Service reporting, including key performance/goal indicators
·        Manage, develop, train, and mentor team on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
·        Career development and technical certifications/skills planning for team.
·        Process development and implementation.
·        Assist with Business planning and development
·        Conduct yearly performance reviews.
·        Work closely with clients and staff to develop client and project risk assessments, implement opportunities, and recommendations regarding business and IT process optimization and profit improvement.
·        Maintain active communication with clients and other teams to manage expectations ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
·        Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.
·        Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients.

Requirements:
·        A minimum of 5 years experience managing professional services delivery of networking solutions from definition through execution, measurement and reporting of results either as an Senior Network or Systems Engineer or Project Manager
·        A minimum of 3 years people management experience including training, development, mentorship and day-to-day responsibility of technical / engineering teams.
·        Strong technical background in the areas of IT infrastructure solutions including server, email, network, and storage technologies (virtualization, consolidation, unified communications, security, etc.)
·        Experience and demonstrated success working with external clients to develop and implement technical solutions.
·        Ability to manage and report on project metrics and profitability analysis a plus
·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science preferred; advanced degree is a plus
·        Formal project management training and/or PMI certification a plus
·        Strong client interaction, interpersonal and leadership skills and experience
·        Absolutely MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Web Engineering Manager

Overview:
·        We are seeking a results-oriented, hands-on Senior Manager of Web-Engineering to manage e-commerce, site architecture and web based application development.
·        Will manage a Team of Front & Back End Developers and will have experience with Agile Development Methodologies.
·        Will partner with the business stakeholders to deliver outstanding platforms, solutions and user experiences. Will provide leadership in the concept, design, and development of new technologies and capabilities.
·        Will represent the technical team during business strategy and vendor meetings.
·        Must have a deep knowledge of web architecture and scalability, web security, data manipulation and database technologies are required.
·        Must have a background in eCommerce environments

·        Must Have Skills: MVC, .Net, ASP, CSS, JavaScript and HTML5

Responsibilities:
·        Motivate and manage Web Developers, Engineers, Project Managers and Quality Assurance Engineers (approximately 15 FTE’s).
·        Will inspire an agile development environment through a culture of direct and open communications.
·        Manage a continuous integration, test driven workflow to deliver value through frequent code releases.
·        Partner with senior management to improve the eCommerce platform to drive growth and to meet the needs of our customers.
·        Exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to work collaboratively under critical timeframes/deadlines

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering with 7-8 years related experience or a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
·        Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of eCommerce experience.
·        Will have at least 2-4 years of Agile Team Management.
·        Should have, at a minimum, 6-8 years of experience with Web Application Development and extensive experience using .Net as well as relational databases such as SQL and MySQL.
·        Extensive Web Application Development experience, delivering high quality Web Applications using technologies, such as: ASP.Net MVC, NServiceBus, StructureMap, Service Stack, Object Oriented JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Backbone.js, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
·        Proven hands on experience managing a team with Agile Methodology.
·        Proven track record of building scalable Web Applications in a heterogeneous technical environment.
·        Experience with Web and Application Deployment and Continuous Integration. TeamCity and Git / GitHub experience is a deciding plus
·        Experience customizing and integrating with legacy systems via a variety of methodologies including, SOAP, REST and Batch processing.
·        Solid understanding of the technology side of SEO and social media considerations.
·        Will have experience managing external vendor relationships and SaaS deployments (must know integration, process flow and data flow)
·        Ability to take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
·        Ability to research and develop comprehensive technical specifications that bridge business/product need with systems design/deliverables
·        Superior analytical skills, including risk mitigation, and build vs. buy scenarios.
·        Partner cross-functionally with corporate network and infrastructure support staff to ensure high standards of online performance
·        Experience in delegating tasks, training and mentoring junior talent and building trust.
·        Absolutely must have excellent English written and verbal communications skills.

Overview:
The Senior Developer will collaborate with business units to improve the end-user experience and adoption of Web Applications. Will design, build and maintain end-to-end solutions based on business functional requirements. The Developer also ensures that the applications performance metrics meet stated targets.  Must be highly analytical and knowledgeable about the latest software products available to the users. Current experience in an MVC environment is a must. 

Responsibilities:
·        Develop software and design standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines to ensure they meet business rules and government regulations
·        Create user-centered designs based on business and functional requirements, user research, market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings
