Financial Analyst

Overview:
• Support senior management through the analysis of the financial performance of various business units
• Assisting with business and strategic planning processes
• Develop operating plans and forecasts
• Create reports and presentations for management and clients
• Perform various financial analysis tasks as required

Responsibilities:
• Gather data to be incorporated into financial analyses and reporting, gain familiarity with the accounting system environment
• Provide insightful analysis of business performance and trends, budgets and forecasts, analysis of performance variances, and other related ad hoc financial analyses
• Liaison with investors and bankers
• Presentation of results of financial reports, metrics, budgets and other models to executive management and/or shareholders
• Create or update models and projections for new periodic data gathered and information needed
• Analyze results and present reports to management on a regular, scheduled basis

Requirements:
• Current business experience in finance, banking, credit card or related industries
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong presentation ability
• Strong work ethic, engaging personal style, and persuasive with the ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Team player with a hands-on approach
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in strategic financial analysis is ideal
• Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong personal initiative and ability to manage and follow through on multiple projects
• Decisive personality with excellent problem solving skills
• Proficiency with Windows based computer applications; knowledge of Great Plains a plus.
• MBA, CPA, and/or CFA a plus
