We are seeking a talented individual for a hands-on technical role running the day-to-day operation of our high frequency trading system.
• As a high frequency trading operations engineer, you will be responsible for the system’s interface with multiple public markets.
• You will identify and diagnose production issues, collect metrics to evaluate risk, work closely with developers and traders to architect system improvements, and provide critical feedback to the development team, defining the vision for improving system operation over time.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Must have experience working in a Linux environment, authoring scripts in Bash, Perl, or Python, and using these tools to investigate issues with production code written in Java or C
• Must be experienced with the complete software life cycle
• Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, finance is required
• Familiarity with FIX, Networking, and SQL is a plus.
