Overview:
Entrepreneurial Marketing Analytics / Digital Engagement / Content Management Firm in Nassau County seeks a Sr. .Net Web Developer to lead a Team in an Agile Environment. The ideal Candidate will have 5 or more years of experience using Microsoft Technologies and Senior Level Expertise with .Net Development Skills: C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net and ideally Angular, AWS and Azure. Will be responsible for Leading the Development of our Proprietary Software Product Suite. Working within our R&D Product Team She/He will participate in all phases of the Development Life Cycle to Build New and Exciting Features and Functions to Enhance our Core Software.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project Teams in the Architecture, Technical Design and Coding of Features and Enhancements to our Product Suite using .Net (C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net), SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript/Angular and CSS
  • Embrace Agile Development Methodology to provide fast and efficient delivery of solutions
  • Develop Web User Interfaces for Applications
  • Document and test developed product functionality in cooperation with Technical Writers and Quality Assurance in-line with defined development processes
  • Collaborate and communicate with Product Enablement, Solutions, and Customer Service Teams to provide assistance and issue resolution for Customers and Stakeholders
  • Investigate and resolve customer and platform related issues
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product
  • Identify best practices for developers to follow to ensure robust and standardized solutions
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; ideally in a related field; Advanced Degree a plus
  • 5+ years of Software Development and Technical & Functional Engineering Experience
  • Will have strong, current experience with a majority of the following: C#.Net, WCF, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, IIS Web Server, and Database Environments, Windows Services, Object Oriented Programming using Visual Studio and related Development Tools
  • Strong understanding of relational database design concepts
  • Will have experience with Content Management, ECommerce and Marketing Automation and Analytics Software
  • The ideal Candidate will have current experience with Angular, AWS and Azure
  • Must be adept at technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and supporting production applications
  • Absolutely must have strong English oral and written communication skills
