Vice President, Information
Technology, Oracle EBS
Overview:
· Current experience with Oracle EBS
Application Suite is a must have - (Not negotiable)
· Will
oversee the technical direction of our firm to
include the planning, implementing and maintenance of best practices for
information technology in alignment with all corporate functions.
· Will evaluate
the use of existing and new technology to improve effectiveness, security and
efficiency of the business.
·
Responsibilities
will include managing Information Technology Staff and recommending decisions
on Service Changes, Purchases and Related Processes to ensure Integrity and Security
of the Organization's Information.
· Must
have the ability to tackle problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential
approach and to adapt to changes in the workplace
· Must
have experience in properly maintaining confidential or sensitive information
in accordance with prescribed Government regulations (i.e. ITAR/ FAR).

Ability
to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that
information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out
the information
· Ability
to delegate responsibility and to work with others while coaching them to
develop their capabilities. Will demonstrate interest, skill, and success in
getting groups to learn to work together. Will have the ability to convey
confidence in the staff's ability to be successful, especially at challenging
new tasks; delegating significant responsibility and authority; allowing
associates freedom to decide how they will accomplish their goals and tasks
· Ability
to take responsibility for your own or the performance of those reporting to
you by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the
goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues
promptly

Responsible
for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster
recovery procedures and plans.
·
Identify
emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced
within the Company in order to insure that the Company is adequately
safeguarded against emerging cyber-security threats.
· Oversee
ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
·
Establish
company infrastructure to support and guide individual organizations in
computing and information technology efforts.
· Strong
PC skills including the Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel, PowerPoint and
Word
· Absolutely
must have strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
· Will
directly manage 3 Supervisors who supervise Systems, Networks, Information
Systems Operations, Application Programming, and Telecommunications
environments. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and
evaluation of these units; will carry out supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
· Will
also be responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements:
· Current experience with Oracle EBS
Application Suite is a must have - (Not negotiable)
· Bachelor's
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline,
Master's Degree a plus
·
Ten plus
years of extensive Information Technology experience, and five plus years
managing staff, processes and policies.
·
Solid Operations,
Technical, and Leadership Background Required.
·
Experience
within the Manufacturing, Electronics or Defense Contracting Industries is
highly preferred.
· PMP
Certification highly
desired.
This is a permanent, full time position.
