• Responsible for documenting detailed design specifications of web development initiatives
• Authors, maintains, and archives front-end design specifications which integrate project requirements, business logic, and a detailed explanation of deliverables.
• Identifies and coordinates resolution of front-end design issues as they relate to business, usability, graphic design, or technical requirements.
Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Authors, maintains, and archives front-end design specifications which integrate project requirements, business logic, and a detailed explanation of deliverables from business users, customers and design teams.
• Specifications will be utilized to:
o Get business owners' signoff on projects prior to the development effort
o Detail the specific scope of work for technical and graphical design staff to estimate and produce their work.
• In this role the person will have direct contact with all Business Units. Works closely with Graphical Designers on a project team to create a front-end html prototype solution that enables a positive user experience.
• Compares specifications to actual work produced and identifies discrepancies
• Works closely with Web Development Manager to ensure all business requirements are understood and works through any technical issue that arise with business user to ensure that the end product meets their needs.
• Identifies and coordinates resolution of front-end design issues as they relate to business, usability, graphic design, or technical requirements.
• Compares specifications to actual work produced and identifies discrepancies. QA testing.
• Assist when necessary with maintaining site maps, flow charts, and other project documentation as required.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
• Able to work within Microsoft Visual Studio to extract and import site files for translations as well as administering website configurations.
• Also needs to be able to setup and maintain the Web Site Marketing Software on local Business User's Computers
Also responsible for:
• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
• Minimum four years systems analysis and participating in formal IT project management experience (full life cycle system development), or the equivalent required
• Specifications writing, Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and Visio.
• Excellent non-technical business writing skills. Strong oral communication skills.
• Adaptive problem solver.
• Able to manage several concurrent initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Web technology.
• Knowledge of transactional processing systems a plus.
• Highly motivated self starter. Organized with great attention to detail.
• Functions well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Fosters teamwork and cooperation
Additional Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent
• Minimum four years systems analysis and participating in formal IT project management experience (full life cycle system development), or the equivalent for web based systems is required.
• Minimum two years of Web Development in a .Net, C# or ASP.Net development environment.
