Overview:

Well established Financial Services Firm is looking to add a Developer with Angular or React Skills, C#, and experience Building Web-Based Applications to our Development Team. Will be responsible for Full Life Cycle High Level Development, including Governance, Modeling, Data Warehouse, Report Development, SQL Development and Delivery and Integration of Web Based Applications in support of Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments and 40 Act Funds from multiple offices throughout the country

Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering in person or by web conference
• Participate in the design, documentation, and development of applications based on business requirements
• Estimate project time and efforts
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications
• Provide user-training and related documentation
• Completes software projects by developing and executing software testing components, developing automation solutions throughout software development life cycle to identify issues
• Performs test case development, tests results analysis, defects reporting, requirements review, test case review, code review and software architecture review
• Performs or assists in creation of back-end databases and works with DBAs to implement a turnover plan
• Identifies and resolves programming problems by following various methods, system development methodologies, and through guidance of more senior software developers 

Requirements:

• Must have strong, current programming experience, ideally within a Financial Services Firm
• Strong, current experience with C#, .Net, ADO.Net, SQL, XML, IIS, Scala and Web Services.
• Expert level experience with Angular a deciding plus
• Must have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development Principles along with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012), SSRS and Azure
• Will know Relational Database Design Principles
• Will have strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills and the ability to excel in a collaborative environment yet also thrive independently
• Absolutely must have strong English written and verbal communication skills
