Technology Services Firm is looking for
a motivated Network Engineer (MCSE a
must) to join our team in Nassau County. The Network Engineer will be a
lead resource for the IT Infrastructure Team at a multi-location client and will
provide hands-on technical leadership and expertise in the management of the
client's Infrastructure Environments
Responsibilities:
·
Full Lifecycle management of Hardware, Software, Network, Server,
Exchange, SAN, VMWare and Enterprise Operating Systems.
· Overall management of Servers, SAN’s, VMWare, Windows, File and Print
Services, Domain Controllers, Exchange, Network Devices, VLAN’s, Routers and
Switches, Active Directory, IP Addressing, WAN and LAN Services, Network
Monitoring and Reporting, Wireless Networking, Data Center Capacity Management
and Planning,
· Responsible for Security Management and Reporting, Backups and Disaster
Recovery as well as Monitoring and troubleshooting all systems
· Direct responsibility for documentation of processes and procedures and
for producing status and activity reports
·
Provide escalated support to Level I and II Technicians
Requirements:
·
MCSE Certification is a Must
Have
·
3-5 years minimum experience management and administration of
“enterprise IT”
·
Ability to develop effective work relationship across all organizational
levels
· Must have strong organizational skills
·
Will have excellent customer service and user interface skills
· Proven ability to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives
· Other Certifications would be beneficial: A+, Network+, HP Switching, Aruba
Wireless, MCITP, VMWare, or Symantec Backup Exec
·
Strong English verbal and written communication skills are an absolute
must have
